At Bull Moose Acres, we proudly house three distinct breeds of laying hens:
- Sex-Sal-Link Brown
- Leghorn
- Black Laced Silver Wyandotte
Our chickens enjoy the freedom of being free-range birds, allowing them to roam within their spacious chicken pen as they wish. However, for their safety, they are securely housed in their chicken coop during the night to protect them from potential predators.
We provide our chickens with a well-balanced diet that goes beyond what nature offers locally. They are nourished with a carefully crafted blend of locally sourced pea, wheat, and barley, supplemented with proteins and minerals to ensure they receive the ideal nutrition for productive laying.
